lamp, a smartphone or a tablet. The wiStarter is

The wiStarterThe wiStarter is an evaluation kit and is used for demonstration and development
support of the witech principle. With the wiStarter you can power your devices
with up 25W power requirement. The wiStarter has a transmit area of 20 cm x 20 cm
and is provided with a coil array of 13 transmit coils.
For the detection of a receiver, every single coil of the transmit matrix is switched
on for a short time. An overlying receiver will be activated and communicates with
the transmitter unit. The energy supply will be hold up as long transmitter and
receiver are communicating. Is no receiver on the transmitter, the transmitter
changes to Standbymode, where the receiver detection is working, while the power
consumption is minimized. With this technology any electrical device can be
powered and charged wireless, witech is the socket of the future, complete
without cables.

TransmitterA transmitter unit consists of a PCB with the transmitting
electronics for the control, the communication and the power
control, as well as as a coil array or if necessary a PCB with a
single coil for a point-to-point-connection.
By default the transmitter is in Burstmode after switching it on
. In this mode every coil gets switched on one after another and
the transmitter checks whether a receiver is laying on or not.
When a receiver is communicating with the transmitter, the
correct power is set on the recent coil and the receiver gets
power as long as it communicates with the transmitter.
In case the receiver gets removed, the transmitter is set
to Burstmode again. -

energy than a laptop.
If you lay a receiver on a table provided with a transmitter, the receiver communicates
with the transmitter immediately, sending its energy informations to the transmitter,
so the transmitter can power the receiver directly after it has been laid on the
transmitter. -
